Route description
You may reach the main station from the airport via S-Train #13 in 15 minutes running each 20 minutes (:04, :24, :44). You leave the station at the main entrance (cathedral side), take the steps up to the cathedral, turn around the cathedral right hand, pass the main entrance, straight ahead a little to the right, pass a small square (Wallrafplatz) and get into the "Hohe Strasse" (a main shopping street for pedestrians). Further on until left into "Obenmarspforten" (there is a KFC at the corner), cross 2 streets and you are on a square where you cross left diagonally to another small square between the two buildings of the townhall. The Spanish building is the one left hand (the newer one opposite the tower). This will take 8-10 minutes.

NB: If you arrive by train, Cologne main station (Koeln Hauptbahnhof, or Hbf) is just outside the Dom and about five minutes from both hotels by foot. If you arrive by air, the train S13 (and other trains) goes several times an hour, from the airport to the main station Koeln Hbf, a journey time of 15 minutes. Make sure you take the train in the right direction, towards Koeln Hbf!
